Best-Selling Authors to Speak at LFCDS This Fall
Dr. Michael Thompson and Dr. Ned Hallowell will discuss their works at speaker series.
Lake Forest Country Day School will host a speaker series featuring a pair of New York Times best-selling authors this fall.
The series kicks off on Tuesday, September 29 when Dr. Michael Thompson, author of Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys, will discussed “The Pressured Child” and how to help children navigate success in life and school, according to a LFCDS news release.
The following month, Dr. Ned Hallowell, author of The Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness, will discuss the book and offer groundbreaking advice on how to stay calm in an ultra competitive and fast environment.
