Brass Knuckles, Ammo, Pot Found on Southern Man During Traffic Stop
The 38-year-old from Mississippi was stopped in Lake Forest for shining a light at other drivers.

LAKE FOREST, IL - Police in Lake Forest issued charges of unlawful use of a weapon, possession of ammunition without a FOID card and possession of cannabis to a Jackson, Miss. man on Nov. 28 after they stopped him for allegedly shining a green light similar to a laser pointer at other drivers near Route 41 and Route 60.
According to a report, police found brass knuckles, cannabis and several magazines of pistol ammunition in the vehicle of Hakeem K. Shaifer, 38 when they made the stop at 10:25 p.m. They were called to the area on a complaint of someone shining a laser into other cars before noticing Shaifer.
