Bringing New People to the GOP

Women's Republican Club of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff is pleased to host Valerie Ramirez Mukherjee, GOP Candidate for Illinois' 10th Congressional District December 7, 2019 at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park.

Valerie's topic will be "Bringing New People Into the Party".

Valerie is a “new kind” of Republican. She is a Hispanic-American, first-generation college student, married to a first-generation immigrant, and was raised in a single parent home where she and her family lived paycheck to paycheck her entire childhood.

Valerie attended her local community college and later transferred to UC Berkeley (BA) where she became active with College Republicans. Valerie started her career as the Campaign Manager and Congressional Aide for GOP Congressman Bill Baker (CA-10). She went on to earn graduate degrees from Columbia University (MPA) and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (MBA).

She spent over 15 years in the technology and finance industries at leading firms including UBS, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Bloomberg, IBM and Silicon Valley startups and was one of a handful of women executives in Fixed Income Sales & Trading on Wall Street. She left the corporate world at age 39 to launch her family’s private investment office, Zen Capital Partners.

She is an athlete, active in educational philanthropy and lives in Winnetka with her husband and two middle school children. She is running on a platform of attracting jobs, improving educational outcomes, and reducing taxes. You will not want to miss this dynamic and impressive candidate!
