Lake Forest College presents: The World Needs Leaders with Former Ambassador Jeff Flake

Join us for a lecture about leadership, civil service and reaching across the aisle. The discussion will focus on building a new generation of principled, service-minded leaders at home and abroad.

Ambassador Jeff Flake represented Arizona in the United States House of Representatives from 2001 to 2013, and in the United States Senate from 2013 to 2019. Most recently, Mr. Flake served as the United States Ambassador to The Republic of Türkiye.  He is the author of the New York Times best seller Conscience of a Conservative: A Rejection of Destructive Politics and a Return to Principle, has been knighted by the Swedish government, and has guest lectured at Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. Mr. Flake currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Politics at Arizona State University and the Chairman of the Board of World Trade Center Utah. 

A pre-event reception will be held in Brown Hall at 6:30 p.m.
