Hi, my name is Chico and I'm a 12-year-old lab mix. I've been a very lucky dog until recently. My family got me as a puppy; they took care of me and loved me every day.

My dad passed away suddenly about eight months ago, and then it was just me and my mom. My mom was in a wheelchair and I always stayed right by her side to make sure she was OK.

Then, another terrible and unexpected thing happened, she passed away too: Now, I'm looking for a new home. I don't require much. I just need a new family to love me. I have always been around kids and do great with them. I love all people and get along with both dogs and cats.

I am housebroken and I'm a pretty laid back guy. I'm a very loyal and loving dog and will make a great companion. Do you have room in your heart and home for a senior guy like me? If you do I promise I will be forever grateful.
