"Connections 2016" First Ever Joint Business Expo for LF/LB Chamber and Highland Park Chamber on June 22

Lake Forest, Illinois – June 9, 2016 – Area business people are invited to attend “Connections 2016,” a special after hours business expo and networking event co-sponsored by the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff and Highland Park Chambers of Commerce on June 22nd. Exhibitors and guests will enjoy informal networking, food and drink, and the opportunity to share products and services and strengthen and build business relationships.

Generously hosted by the Highland Park Country Club, 1201 Park Avenue West in Highland Park, the event runs from 5:30 until 7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 22. Admission is complimentary with the club providing refreshments and a cash bar.

In addition to the excellent networking, there will be more than 50 exhibitors from both chambers showcasing their businesses and organizations with live demonstrations, giveaways and raffle prizes.

The chambers’ directors, Joanna Rolek of the LF/LB Chamber and Ginny Glasner of the Highland Park Chamber, created the joint networking event to enhance their members’ business opportunities. The combined chambers have over 800 members and Rolek expects several hundred to attend. “The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to provide a venue like Connections 2016 for our members to meet and network with one another,” she says.
