Cynthia Kay Harkleroad, Lake Bluff, Illinois passed away on October 24

Cynthia Kay Harkleroad, Lake Bluff, Illinois passed away on October 24, 2022 after a lengthy illness.

Cynthia was born in Dayton, Ohio and was a graduate of Northmont High School. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father John Marvin Fauver (2022) her mother Donna Jean Fauver (1994) her brother-in-law Randy Daugherty (2022) and her beloved dog Capone (2022).

Cynthia was the owner of a local food and wine business from 2005 to 2013. Her entrepreneurial adventure allowed her to pursue her longtime love of food and all things related. Her leisure activities over the years included bowling, cooking, collecting cook books, sampling wines from all over the world, hanging out and having fun with her grandchildren and watching Ohio State football. One of her favorite past times was visiting the family’s Florida condo, trying new restaurants, and listening to the ocean while watching the sunset.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Lee Harkleroad and beloved sons, Chip and Julian Harkleroad, daughter-in-law, Maria Harkleroad, grandchildren, Ava and Max Harkleroad, sister, Valorie Dougherty, niece and nephew Meaghan and Brandon Dougherty, grandnephew Cameron Dougherty, mother-in-law, Helen Harkleroad, and brother-in-law, Tim Harkleroad.
