The Daily Grind is Coming Back
Popular Lake Bluff butcher shop will open next year in Lake Forest's Market Square.

The Daily Grind, a once popular butcher shop that closed in Lake Bluff earlier this year, is back with a new location.
Owner Rick Harness will reopen his business at 1 Market Square Court in Lake Forest earlier next year, according to the Daily North Shore. It will be just beyond the walkway west of Williams Sonoma.
Harness is proud to be able to pass his family business down to the next generation, as his daughter, Carrie Harness, will assist him when the new shop opens.

“It’s the dream of any family to pass it down to the next generation,” Rick Harness said. “I’m looking forward to working with my daughter and seeing her be able to do what I did. I’m glad it will be an opportunity for her.”
The Market Square shop will be larger than the former one in Lake Bluff, with the meat cutting done in the back out of the customers’ sight.
