Daily Grind Reopens at New Lake Forest Location

Lake Forest, IL—A popular Lake Bluff butcher shop has finally reopened at a new location.

The Daily Grind, which lost its lease in Lake Bluff and closed in January of 2015, opened Saturday, July 2, at its new spot in Lake Forest at 1 Market Square, the business announced on its Facebook page.

Owner Richard Harness has been prepping for the opening since around April thanks to efforts from a GoFundMe online drive and other help. Harness also will be working with his daughter, Carrie, in this new endeavor.

"I can't express how thankful I am to have so many people cheering us on and supporting us during this whole process," she wrote on her Facebook page. "The Daily [G]rind is a perfect example of good things falling apart so better things can come together."
