Deer Path Inn Could Open By End of Year

The year-long renovation project is on track to be completed three months ahead of schedule.

The Deer Path Inn in Lake Forest is expected to open three months ahead of schedule and possible before the year’s end.

General Manager Matt Barba made the announcement this week at a meeting of the Lake Forest Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce and noted the work is expected to be completed less than a year before a massive renovation began, according to the Daily North Shore.

“I’ll have a specific date in the next 30 days but we’ll be open by the end of the year,” Barba said. “We want to do it right. We’re going to see where we’re at in the next 30 days,” he added, explaining why he could not give a precise date now.
