Deer Path Inn Reopens in Time for Christmas

But spots filled up quickly and the popular night has been sold out.

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Christmas dinner tradition at Deer Path Inn will remain alive this year despite the popular Lake Forest restaurant/inn enduring nearly a year’s worth of construction.

Improvement work at the inn began in January and was expected to last until March of 2016, but inn personnel as early as August hinted at a possible return by the end of the year.

According to the Daily North Shore, Dec. 5 was their first day back, and by then all reservations for Christmas had been filled. Innkeeper Matt Barba announced in October the inn would open for sure by the end of 2015, and then the reservations began pouring in.
