A Double Rainbow Appeared Over Halas Hall Monday

LAKE FOREST, IL - It was another case of the Mondays for the Chicago Bears, who for the second straight week lost a home game to a team with a sub-.500 record in the closing seconds.

But at least players, coaches and staff at Halas Hall Monday had something nice to look at. A beautifully-arced rainbow appeared over the team’s practice field in Lake Forest.

Fans of the team held back any gripes they may have had about the recent on-field performance to compliment the photo on Facebook and Twitter.

“Beautiful photo...thank you for sharing,” one wrote.

“I saw it on my way home to South Bend in the afternoon. Amazing!,” another chimed in.

But of course some had to bring the snark.

“Maybe the Bears will find a QB at the end.”

If you look closely at the photo, you’ll see it is actually a double rainbow that appears over the field. One for each fourth quarter kick Robbie Gould has missed over the past two weeks.
