LAKE FOREST, IL — A Waukegan is accused of carrying a small amount of marijuana and handgun bullets after he was pulled over for a vehicle violation Aug. 9, according to Lake Forest police reports.

Donnell B. Devost, 31, of the 1100 block of Porter Street, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and possession of 9mm ammunition without a valid Firearms Owner ID card.

Devost was stopped by police at about 11:10 a.m. near the intersection of Route 41 and Westleigh Road because his rear brake lights weren't working, police say. A background check on Devost during the stop discovered that his license was suspended and the black pickup he was driving was uninsured.
