John Waters Film Fest: “Pink Flamingos” (1972)

Starring Divine, David Lochary, Mary Vivian Pearce, and Mink Stole
Join us for the first of eight films that comprise the John Waters Film Festival.Notorious Baltimore criminal and underground figure Divine goes up against Connie & Raymond Marble, a sleazy married couple who make a passionate attempt to humiliate her and seize her tabloid-given title as "The Filthiest Person Alive." This is perhaps the top "gross out" movie of all time. Introduction by Associate Professor of English Davis Schneiderman.

The festival culminates in a talk by John Waters himself, on Thursday, March 24 at 7:30 pm in the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel.
