The Charity Ride for Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) is quickly approaching, and on Feb. 29 the Joyride Cycle Club in Highland Park will host the event.
Joy Ride is a free ride where participants ride alongside a GLASA athlete. GLASA athletes will ride their newly transformed stationary bikes for this special occasion. There will be a ride for teens at 5 p.m. followed by a ride for adults at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m., local author Beth Aldrich will talk about her book, "Real Moms Love to Eat".
Proceeds from the ride and book sales will go to GLASA.
