Expand Your Connections – Building Your Network

Tuesday, October 17, 2017 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Facilitated by: Lori Yoder, Psychotherapist and Clinical Social Worker

Understanding how to effectively develop connections is the key to success. It’s not about asking for a job, it’s about talking with others about common interests and how you may be able to help each other. This is an opportunity to meet and connect with individuals from different industries and disciplines. Show up to this session and you may find new information and connections. Come with specifics on what you are looking for and leave with new leads to follow up on. Bring your inventive ideas, handbills, and business cards.

Lori Yoder is Psychotherapist and a Clinical Social Worker at Northwestern Hospital and has a career coaching/psychotherapy practice. She has worked over 25 years in the worlds of non-profits, public speaking, higher education, and healthcare and is an active volunteer with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Sit, Stay, Read. She holds a MSW from the University of Illinois.
