Though the slow-cooker may seem somewhat at odds with the hectic pace of contemporary life, it’s actually one of the most versatile and most useful appliances in the kitchen. In fact, learning how to use a slow-cooker properly makes it much easier for people to fit wholesome homemade meals back into their schedules. New-Fashioned Slow Cooking is perfect for anyone who hasn’t dusted of their slow-cooker in a while as well as for anyone who appreciates great food and a peaceful lifestyle.
The menu for New-Fashioned Slow-Cooking includes “overnight prep” Italian beef, an adaptation of Ina Garten’s mushroom and leek bread pudding, and decadent pots de crème. Guests will also receive a complimentary glass of wine during this relaxing event and will take home recipes for all of the items prepared during the demonstration. This is one event that any food lover definitely won’t want to miss.
