Former Anixter CEO Sells Lake Forest Home
Robert W. Grubbs Jr. pulled in half a million more than what he paid for it five years ago.

Robert W. Grubbs Jr., the former president and CEO of Glenview-based Anixter International, sold his Lake Forest home for $2.7 million this week.
The four-bedroom, 4,762-square-foot mansion built in 2006 was purchased by Grubbs in 2010 for $2.2 million, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The home, with 6.5 baths, two fireplaces, a wraparound front porch and first-floor master suite, was first listed in February for $2.5 million
