Free Consultation Now Available with Genealogy Experts from North Shore Chapter (Daughters of the American Revolution)
North Shore Chapter, Lake Forest, IL; NSDAR; DAR; Genealogy; Daughters of the American Revolution

Do you have a revolutionary patriot in your family tree? Would you like a free consultation with a genealogy expert who is also familiar with DAR verification standards on a challenging application, lineage or service issue? Volunteer Genealogists and Lineage Research Committee volunteers have combined resources to offer prospective members of DAR.
These dedicated volunteers are familiar with the DAR Genealogy Department’s current standards of verification for new and supplemental applications. They can answer your questions on how to complete an error-free application. They are also skilled genealogy researchers—including specialty research areas such as French Canadian patriots and our forgotten patriots of color. Some are experts in New England records while others have worked extensively with records from the southern colonies. Others are familiar with records of the post-revolutionary frontier. Volunteers will be eager to suggest document repositories and resources of all types that may hold the elusive proof needed for that challenging link in a new application. General questions on application-related topics are welcomed.
