Free tickets for Active Military at Citadel Theatre
Citadel Theatre in Lake Forest is giving free tickets to their hilarious farce, Don't Dress for Dinner, to active servicemen and women
Citadel Theatre in Lake Forest is offering servicemen and women free passes to performances this Memorial Day Weekend to see Don’t Dress for Dinner. A light-hearted and hilarious play, Don’t Dress for Dinner has been hailed by Around the Town Chicago critic Al Bresloff as: “The serum for what ails you!” Citadel is hoping to help massage some mental wounds with the two hours of laughter on offer.
In the play an Englishman named Bernard has invited his mistress Suzanne and his friend, Robert, to his French country house for the weekend while his wife is supposed to be away with her mother. But when Jaqueline, his wife, finds out Robert is coming she wants to stay. It appears Robert is more than Bernard’s alibi – he is Jaqueline’s secret lover! But that is far from the whole story in this fast-paced and rollicking ride of a show.
In reaching out to the USO and Great Lakes Naval Station, Citadel is hoping to help add some joy this holiday weekend for military families looking for a little levity. The USO will distribute tickets at the base and other servicemen and women may contact Citadel by phone at 847.735.8554 or visit Citadel online at www.CitadelTheatre.org and use the Active Military discount to claim their free tickets.
