Freedom To Play At New Toy Store In Lake Forest
All the toys at Sage Explorers are educational, according to its owner.

LAKE FOREST, IL — A new toy shop is open in Lake Forest that allows kids (and adults) the freedom to play at their own pace and features a learning center with homework help and tutoring for individuals and groups.
Owner Allison Gurza, a Lake Bluff resident and former fourth and fifth grade teacher at School of St. Mary in Lake Forest, opened up Sage Explorers on Sept. 2 and began offering tutoring Sept. 19 weekdays between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at its 647 N. Bank Ln. location, according to Daily North Shore.
She said the seeds of Sage Explorer were planted while she worked in a toy store during college. Searching for a way to offer something online retailers could not, she said giving kids a hands-on experience with toys and games is the best way to win over potential customers.
