Fun Summer Volunteer Opportunities at Beacon Place

Are you looking for fun summer volunteer opportunities? Then our Summer Lunch Bunch Program at Beacon Place might be for you!

Our adult and student volunteers help kids with their lunch and day camp activities such as arts and crafts, sports activities like basketball, soccer, and baseball or play games and puzzles with the kids. The volunteers arrive at 10:00 am to help with set-up. They finish up at 1:30 pm after helping with cleanup.

Summer Lunch Bunch meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm from June 13th through August 8th.

We ask all volunteers to commit to 6 volunteer days. We have many options to accommodate busy schedules.

All of our Summer Lunch Bunch activities will be outside and we are located in a community house at 603 S. McAlister in Waukegan.
