Future Chefs: Greece, Hands-on Cooking Class
This unique hands-on cooking class gives 10-13 year olds a chance to explore their culinary creativity under the guidance of a trained chef.

Come learn to prepare a variety of delicious dishes inspired by the bright and flavorful cuisine of Greece. This unique class is specially designed to give 10-13 year olds a chance to have loads of fun while learning and practicing basic cooking techniques under the guidance of a trained chef.
The menu for Future Chefs: Greece includes Spanakopita, Braised Lemon and Artichoke Chicken with Orzo, and Halva Cake.
The techniques that will be covered in this class include safe knife handling, sautéing and steaming vegetables, cooking rice, braising meat, and working with phyllo dough.

Future Chefs: Greece will take place on Monday, April 6th from 2 to 4:30 pm at the Sunset Foods Lake Forest Cooking Studio.
Advance registration is required for all Sunset Foods cooking classes and demonstrations. Those wishing to attend this event should visit https://sfthyme.eventbrite.com to sign up as soon as possible. Please note that attendance for this unique event is limited and that registration occurs on a first come, first served basis. Admission to this event is $65 per station. Each station can accommodate a second person for just $15 more.
