Future Chefs Hands-On Cooking Class: Lion/Lamb
On Sunday, March 1, Sunset Foods is hosting an educational hands-on cooking class for 10-13 year olds from 1 pm to 3:30 pm in Lake Forest.

This unique class is specially designed to give 10-13 year olds a chance to have loads of fun while learning and practicing basic cooking techniques and while exploring their creativity in the kitchen under the guidance of a trained chef.
The menu for this class includes Chinese Lion’s Head and Snow Cabbage, Simple Spring Rolls, and Vanilla Cupcakes with Swiss Meringue Frosting.
The techniques that will be covered by this class include reading a recipe, organizing and measuring ingredients, following kitchen safety, proper knife usage, whisking, mixing, steaming, and using a blender.

Future Chefs “Lion/Lamb” will be held at Sunset’s Lake Forest Cooking Studio from 1 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday, March 1st.
Advance registration is required for all Sunset Foods cooking classes and demonstrations. Those wishing to attend this event should visit https://sfthyme.eventbrite.com to sign up as soon as possible. Please note that attendance for this unique event is limited and that registration occurs on a first come, first served basis. Admission is $65 per station, and each station can accommodate a second person for just $15 more.
