10:45 a.m. - Awards announced

11:00 a.m. - Food and fun

Dress Fido and Fifi in their finest and wag your way over to Gorton for a celebration of our four-legged friends. We'll march with the Navy Brass Band and dine on brats and dogs from Catering by Kenny. Floats are encouraged, costumes are a must -- we'll have a very special guest of honor awarding ribbons, and the Woof-o-Meter will determine the crowd's favorite Top Dog!

Awards will be presented for:

  • Craziest Combo
  • Hippiest Hound
  • Cleverist Costume
  • And of course, TOP DOG!

Area rescue groups and dog experts will answer all your pet questions, and Brenda Belmonte of Two Paws Up will guide participating canines through an agility course.

Attending dogs must have proof of vaccination and be on a leash at all times. Owners must clean up after their dog. Bags will be provided.

If you are interested in sponsorship or volunteering, please contact Tricia Sweet at tricia@gortoncenter.org.
