Grease Singalong, Karaoke, Costume Contest Coming To Gorton

From the Gorton Community Center: Warm up your vocals for the kick-off of Gorton Community Center’s Summer Film Series. On June 15, the beloved musical GREASE will make its sing-a-long premier in the John & Nancy Hughes Theater at 7 p.m. You and and your family can belt out the tunes of this cultural classic along side John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in what will surely be a can’t-miss event of summer. Come early and enter a karaoke and costume contest before the movie. Prizes will be awarded!

Gorton Community Center is a privately-funded, nonprofit 501c3 organization that operates in partnership with volunteers and the City of Lake Forest to enrich the lives of its residents through cultural arts, education and charitable service. Gorton relies on the generosity of residents and businesses to help fund programs, services and building improvements offered in the historic building owned by the city.
