Jake Harriman, former U.S. Marine and social entrepreneur will share his journey growing up in rural Appalachia to founding an award-winning nonprofit in East Africa that has helped over 85,000 people lift themselves out of extreme poverty. From his own failures and successes in building a nonprofit, Jake developed the belief that “if we fail, we become better.” Hear practical advice and real life stories of how Jake learned to take responsible risks to uncover innovative, breakthrough solutions.
