Gun Found on Passenger During Traffic Stop
All three occupants of a vehicle were charged after August stop on Route 41.

Three men were arrested last month during a traffic stop at Il Route 41 and Old Elm Road in Lake Forest last month for different offenses, including one for unlawful use of a weapon after a loaded revolver was found in the possession of one of the passengers.
Following a traffic stop at 12:54 a.m. on August 23, police arrested Sebastian Casteneda, 20, Waukegan after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a loaded revolver.

The car’s driver - Giovanni L. Renteria, 21, Winthrop Harbor - who was stopped for driving 78 mph in a 55 mph zone, was also taken into custody when found to be driving on a suspended license and to have an arrest warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a previous parole violation.
Gervase M. Pruett, 21, Waukegan was also taken into custody when he was found to be wanted on an arrest warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a previous parole violation. Pruett was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol when he was found with an open alcohol container.
