Help Lake Forest Attract Visitors at Community Forum

Discussion planned to hear residents ideas on marketing and attracting visitors.

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest residents are invited to share their ideas at a 'Marketing Campaign Community Forum' on Tuesday, Jan. 10. First Ward Ald. Prue Beidler will lead a discussion on how to attract visitors to the city and reveal the results from a recent community survey.

The Marketing Campaign Community Forum will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 7-8:30 p.m. at LifeWorking, 717 Forest Avenue. First Ward Alderman Prue Beidler will lead the discussion.

Come one, come all! You will learn about the information collected and work done to date, and creative concepts being explored to help promote the City and its assets in attracting new residents, young families, students, businesses, visitors, shoppers and diners.

Data will be shared from the recent Resident Survey as well as multiple conversations and interviews conducted by the Marketing Campaign Team over the last 8 months. Learn how you can become a well-informed advocate for our community.

The City’s Community Forums are designed to provide residents with an informal occasion to:

  • Get involved in complex community issues
  • Stimulate intellect, curiosity and civil debate
  • Gather a greater awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing Lake Forest

These forums not televised and no decisions are made. The purpose is to collectively develop an enhanced clarity of each issue, its intricacies, and a consensus on how to proceed. Interested participants do not need to make reservations.
