Home That Sells in Lake Forest is Most Expensive in City This Year

LAKE FOREST, IL - The most expensive real estate deal made in Lake Forest this year closed last week when a Green Bay Road home sold for $4 million, according to a Crain’s report.

The home has been on and off the market since 2009, with a price tag that has been as high as $4.5 million at times.

Interestingly, the 7,600-square-foot home was not officially listed on the market when it sold. In February, it had a $4.25 million price tag,

Most years, high-end home sales in Lake Forest can top $5 million and $6 million.
