The resident, who lives in the 1000 block of Newport Court, told police that a man in his mid 30s, wearing a bandana covering the lower part of his face, came to his home at around 3:45 p.m. July 20, saying he was doing landscaping for the subdivision. The two eventually went to the homeowner's backyard.

While in the backyard, the suspect asked the homeowner "mundane questions," then left after less than 10 minutes. The resident later discovered that items were missing from his house.
