How to Season: Cooking Demo and Tasting

Come learn how to season any dish perfectly at this cooking demonstration and tasting on Sat., March 28th from 1:30-3:30 pm in Lake Forest.

It’s obvious when a dish is missing something; the challenge is figuring out what that something is. At this demonstration and tasting, Chef Mary Kay Gill will lead an interactive workshop involving various exercises which will help guests learn how to use salt, acid, herbs, spices, and other flavors to balance their dishes perfectly. Guests will gain a variety of new skills which will help them cook more intuitively and will also take home their own custom vinaigrette.

How to Season will take place on Saturday, March 28th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Sunset Foods Lake Forest Cooking Studio.

Advance registration is required for all Sunset Foods cooking classes and demonstrations. Those wishing to attend this event should visit https://sfthyme.eventbrite.com to sign up as soon as possible. Please note that attendance for this unique event is limited and that registration occurs on a first come, first served basis. Admission is $25 per person.
