Jane Lorenz, 89, Lake Forest

Jane Lorenz nee Benner passed away on September 21, 2022. She was born in Berkeley, California, on January 26, 1933. A graduate of the University of California, Jane moved to Illinois after marrying Richard Lorenz on September 10, 1955. Throughout her life, Jane enjoyed nature, gardening, and bird-watching. She was an active member in book and poetry clubs, and traveled extensively. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Frederic and Ruth nee Younger Benner, siblings Caroline and Steve, and husband, Richard. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Lorenz; her brother, Gordon (Andrea) Benner; Emily Benner; nieces and nephews; and pseudo daughter, Geri Yaccino.
