Kathleen Winer, 70 years old, of Lake Forest passed away peacefully August 31st with her loving husband Gary at her side. Kathleen was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but spent more than 25 years living in Lake Forest. Kathleen is survived by her brother Patrick McKelly and sister-in-law, Beverly McKelly; brother-in-law Kris Winer, sister-in-law Becky Springmeyer, niece Alyssa and nephews Joshua and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Madeline McKelly, and her two brothers Michael and Timothy McKelly.
Visitation will be held from 2:30pm until the 5pm Funeral Service on Sunday, September 11th at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave., Lake Forest, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kathleen’s memory to Mothers Trust Foundation, Tunnels to Towers Foundation, Northern Illinois Food Bank or Paws Chicago.
