Kids' Fun Races in Lake Bluff Will Be July 25

The Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company will sponsor the races for the fourth year in a row.

The kids’ fun races in downtown Lake Bluff are scheduled to begin on July 25 at 6 p.m.

Kids ages 3-9 can take part in the Lake Bluff bike races, sponsored for the fourth year in a row by The Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company.

“Lake Forest Bank & Trust is proud to sponsor the Kids’ Fun Races in Lake Bluff again this year,” said Judy Moloney, manager of the Lake Bluff branch of the bank. “As the hometown bank here in Lake Bluff, we welcome the community to this special event.”

A live webcast will be added to this year’s event, according to race organizer Marco Colbert.

“Each kid who rides in the fun races will receive a medal and a free 2 oz. treat at Suzy’s Swirl on Rockland Rd. across from the new Target,” Colbert added. “Kids should take their race number bib into Suzy’s Swirl for a yummy treat.”

A parent or guardian must register each kid in advance. Registration will take place at the Lake Bluff branch of the Lake Forest Bank from Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday, July 25 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Registration after noon on Saturday will also be available in the Lake Bluff Fire Station near the Village Green.
