Lake Bluff Gas Station Sells Winning Lottery Ticket
Beach Park man wins prize, says he'll donate a portion to charity.

LAKE BLUFF, IL - A Lake Bluff gas station recently sold a winning Illinois Lottery ticket worth $100,000.
Taysir Awad of Beach Park won the instant prize after playing the Lottery’s “Blackout Bingo” game at Luke Gas & Oil, 2 N. Waukegan Rd. in Lake Bluff, according to lottery officials. The gas station received $1,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Awad, who has resided in Beach Park for five years, said he will make a donation to his favorite charity and save the rest of his winnings.
