Lake Bluff Obituary: Thomas W. Boyle, Jr., 71

Thomas W. Boyle, Jr., 71, died peacefully at home on December 18.

Tom was a 44 year resident of Lake Bluff. He retired in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Research Technology Intl., a Lincolnwood, IL, a company he helped found in 1970. Tom was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl who passed away in 2002. Tom is survived by his longtime partner, Mary Jo Mohr. He’s also survived by his three loving daughters; Catherine (Joseph) Montalbano; Jennifer (Patrick) Tucker and Margaret Elizabeth Boyle. His four grandchildren, Nina, Vincent, Gabriel and Margot, were the joy of his life. Tom loved sailing and over the years sailed to virtually every port on Lake Michigan during family vacations. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Monday, December 28 at Church of St. Mary, 175 Illinois Ave, Lake Forest. Interment will be private.
