Lake Bluff Police Nab 4 Drunk Drivers on St. Patrick's Day
Seven seat belt tickets also issued as part of "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" crackdown.

Lake Bluff police made four drunk driving arrests during a St. Patrick’s Day crackdown, according to a guest post on the Daily North Shore. Seven citations for seat belt violations were also handed out.
“The campaign featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, which included a strategic media campaign as well as additional enforcement activity,” according to the post.
The crackdown was funded by federal traffic safety funds through IDOT’s Division of Transportation Safety and is part of the statewide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket” campaigns.
