Lake Bluff Woman Catches Alleged Burglar in Garage

A Knollwood man faces a charge of burglary after a Lake Bluff woman allegedly caught him inside her garage on Saturday.

The homeowner entered her unlocked garage in the 100 block of Ravine Forest Drive when she saw a man she didn’t know inside, according to the Lake Forester.

The man, who appeared to be going through the woman’s car, ran off as the woman called 911, but Lake Bluff and Lake Forest police were able to apprehend Martin B. Nicholson, 25 shortly after.
