Lake Bluff Woman Wins National Luminary Award
Lynn Gerber of Astellas was presented the distinction by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.
Lynn Gerber, area vice president of sales at Astellas and resident of Lake Bluff, has been awarded the prestigious national Luminary Award by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA).
“The HBA luminary award is a powerful reminder of the opportunity we have as leaders to positively impact and influence others,” said Gerber. “This award is especially meaningful to me because it recognizes the aspect of my job I find to be most fulfilling.”
The award recognizes women with more than 20 years of healthcare experience with a demonstrated commitment to leadership and mentoring in their organizations. The HBA Women of the Year event, considered one of the year’s premier healthcare conferences, took place in New York City on Thursday, May 14.
