Lake County Early Voting Locations, Hours

Early voting in is available to all Lake County residents until Election Day at these sites.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Early voting is underway until Election Day Nov. 6 in Lake County. All Lake County residents may vote any any early voting site, regardless of where they live. Voters do not need to provide any excuse or reason to vote early, and early voting locations are available to all voters, whether registered or not.

For those already properly registered, no government-issued identification is necessary, according to the Lake County Clerk's Office. But if voters need to update their registration information, are challenged at the voting site, marked as an inactive or sign their name differently at the polling place, they will be asked to provide an ID.

Lake County residents can also still register to vote at all early voting sites. Any voter wishing to register or file a change of address form must provide two forms of ID. At least one of them must show the voter's current address, according to the clerk's office.

All early voting is final. Voters are not allowed to come back and attempt to amend, change or undo a ballot cast early for any reason. It is a felony to attempt to vote more than once in any election or to lie on any voting registration paperwork.

The Lake County Clerk's Office also includes a interactive map allowing voters to find the nearest early voting site to any address. Lake County voters can also review their registration status and view a personalized voter page with additional information and the opportunity to preview your ballot and sign up to vote by mail. Early Voting Sites With Regular Hours From Oct. 22 to Nov. 3
Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Closed Sundays.

Early Voting Sites With Extended Hours From Oct. 22 to Nov. 5
Monday through Friday hours extended to 7 p.m. and Saturday hours until 4 p.m. after Oct. 29. Open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 28 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 4.
