Lake County Sheriff: No Evictions Until January

Being home for the holidays will take on a special meaning for some residents of Lake County.

Last week, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced a moratorium on evictions until January 5, 2015.

The announcement was made on Thursday, December 18 by Sheriff Mark Curran.

“Times are tough for a lot of folks and there’s no need to evict during the holidays,” the Sheriff said.
