Lake Forest Car Burglary Suspect Flees Police

A possible suspect in a case of burglarized vehicles fled from Lake Forest police officers in the early morning hours of January 16.

Lake Forest police reports indicate at least seven cars were burglarized overnight between Thursday, January 15 at 10 p.m. and Friday morning, January 16 at 6 a.m.

The cars were all parked, unlocked and in driveways on Greenview, Green Briar, Northmoor and Lake Road.

Officers had attempted to stop the potential suspect driving a Chevrolet Monte Carlo with no license plates and blue aftermarket headlights, but he got away.
