Lake Forest Caucus to Slate Rob Lansing for Mayor

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Lake Forest Caucus has selected former Alderman Rob Lansing as its choice for mayor in 2017.

The caucus met and decided on Lansing over current Aldermen Prue Beidler and Jack Reisenberg, according to a Daily North Shore report.

Lansing was on the Lake Forest City Council from 1998 to 2002 and has also served as a member of the city’s Zoning Board of Appeals.

Mayor Donald Schoenheider cannot run for re-election due to the city’s term limit ordinance.

The caucus has also selected four candidates for City Council and contenders for two local school boards.

The slate will be presented at the caucus’s annual meeting at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Gorton Community Center.
