Lake Forest College Student Plans Concert to Help the Hungry

A student at Lake Forest College is organizing a concert to fight hunger.

Tanner Bednar, a philosophy student at the College, is planning ‘Rock the Halls,’ a concert that will be held in Elgin on Sunday. Proceeds will benefit the Community Crisis Center and Food for Greater Elgin.

The concert starts at 5 p.m. at Danny’s Pizza, 231 Douglas Ave., Elgin. The lineup will include The Reverends’ brand of blues soul, plus four more bands playing everything from rock to indie acoustic.
