Representatives from Lake Forest accepted an award on behalf of the city's Fire Department, which is one of 218 agencies in the world to receive 'Accredited Agency' status with the Commission on Fire Accreditation International and the Center for Public Safety Excellence, Inc. City Manager Bob Kiely, Chief Jeffrey Howell, Deputy Chief Christopher Garrison, Battalion Chief and Accreditation Manager Mike Gallo and Union President Cory Kazimour accepted the award on behalf of the department on August 24.

Representatives from Lake Forest accepted an award on behalf of the city’s Fire Department, which is one of 218 agencies in the world to receive ‘Accredited Agency’ status with the Commission on Fire Accreditation International and the Center for Public Safety Excellence, Inc.

City Manager Bob Kiely, Chief Jeffrey Howell, Deputy Chief Christopher Garrison, Battalion Chief and Accreditation Manager Mike Gallo and Union President Cory Kazimour accepted the award on behalf of the department on August 24.

The department was awarded last last month as one of only 218 in the world to meet certain criteria.
