Lake Forest Girls Take 10th in State X-Co Meet

The Lake Forest High School girls cross-country team finished in 10th place at last weekend’s state tournament in Peoria.The team, which consisted of runners Claire Yandell, Emma Allen, Nora Burgener, Kelsey Schmidt, Gabrielle Simeck, Katie Condon and Haley Click, finished the three-mile course with a combined time of 1:36:42.

Burgener had the fastest time on the team, running her race in 19:08.6. Click here to see the other girl’s times.

Yorkville took first place at the meet.
