Lake Forest, Lake Bluff Students Garner Academic Honors

School names Honor Roll and top achieving students.

in Lake Forest has announced the first semester Honor Roll. The following students named to the Honor Roll have maintained an overall average of (A-) for the first semester.

Class Honor and Achievement Awards were also presented. The Honor Award is given to a student in each class who has maintained the highest scholastic average for the semester. Honor Awards were presented to Goodman of Lake Bluff (senior class), junior Ingrid Watts of Lake Bluff (junior class), sophomore Caitlin L. McCarthy, and freshman Caroline Watts.

The Achievement Award is presented to the student in the sophomore, junior and senior classes whose grade point average has increased the most from the previous semester. Students who received this award were senior Dan Zhang of the People’s Republic of China; junior Kristen Halvorson of Libertyville; and sophomore Stella Gilbertson of Lake Forest.
