Lake Forest Man Struck, Killed By Car In North Chicago: Coroner

The 77-year-old man died Sunday at the intersection of Route 41 and Route 137.

NORTH CHICAGO, IL — A Lake Forest man was fatally struck by a car Sunday in North Chicago, authorities said.

North Chicago police and fire personnel were dispatched shortly after 10:30 p.m. for a report that a car had hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Route 41 and Buckley Road, according to the Lake County Coroner's Office.

Richard Bradley, 77, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the preliminary results of autopsy conducted Monday indicate that multiple blunt force injuries caused his death, according to the coroner's office.

Patch requested additional information about the incident from North Chicago police, who have called in the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team to assist with the investigation.
