Lake Forest Obituary: Allison Dean Walker, 85

Allison Dean Walker, 85, of Lake Forest, IL died September 28, 2015 at her home. Allison was born in Chicago. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and she was a debutante in Chicago. Allison was married to Malcolm Morehead Walker for over 50 years until his death in 2006. She was an avid horsewoman, skier, hiker and world traveler. She had a passion for working in her garden and reading. She is survived by her loving son. The family sends special thanks to Karen Lackinger, Rush Weedin, and Luis Valencia. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 400 E Westminster, Lake Forest, IL Allison will be laid to rest next to her husband and parents, Dwight F. Dean and Allison Thresher Dean, in Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Orphans of the Storm, 2200 Riverwoods Rd, Deerfield, IL 60015.
